Our social event this year, when we will also celebrate the 10th anniversary of ECEL, will take place at Bar Trapiche Gamboa on September 18th (Friday). This bar is a 19th-century building located in the city center, and is a samba landmark in Rio de Janeiro.
On September 18th, Eduardo Gallotti and his musicians will be playing traditional carioca samba. Admission tickets cost R$ 18,00 each (about US$ 9.00). Food and beverage are not included. When you order your food and drink, the waiters just tick a checklist with your order. This system helps each person pay for his or her own expenses. Credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), debit cards (Redeshop and Visa Electron) and cash are accepted.
